Michael Seashols
Chief Executive Officer
With a well-established reputation as a successful executive in the technology industry, Mike brings significant strategic expertise to the AVOLENT team. Mike provides AVOLENT with a proven track record in developing "go to market" models, leveraging his skills in defining significant market opportunities, optimizing a company's resources to deliver solutions to these markets, and to build substantial barriers to entry.
Mike began his career in the technology industry serving 10 years with IBM before joining Oracle as their first Vice President of Sales/Marketing, reporting directly to Larry Ellison. At Oracle, Mike was instrumental in establishing the company as the leader in the emerging relational database market with its impressive sales growth and IPO in 1986. Subsequently, he has served CEO and Board roles for a number of successful technology companies, including Versant, Documentum, Evolve Software, GoldenGate, and PostX.
Tanya Johnson
Senior Vice President, Engineering and Services
Tanya provides AVOLENT substantial experience and a rich history of developing world-class technology and implementing solutions for Global 2000 companies.
Prior to AVOLENT, Tanya was Senior Vice President of Engineering and Services at Actional, a leading provider of web services management. Before Actional, Tanya held the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Clarify and ran the product organization that was responsible for all Clarify products. Tanya has also spent time at Oracle as Senior Director for Communications Products in the Groupware Division and was responsible for delivering Oracle's first enterprise end-user application offering. Prior to Oracle, Tanya was with Wang Laboratories, where she was General Manager for Wang Office and oversaw product development, marketing, product management, technical writing, technical support and quality assurance.
Tanya holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a M.S. in Statistics from Oklahoma State University.
Michael Radovancevich
Vice President, Technology & Products
AVOLENT is fortunate to have Michael's solid experience in designing and building large-scale, high-performance distributed systems, application platforms, component architectures and collaborative and financial systems. He is currently responsible for technical strategy, product family architecture, strategic product planning, advanced technology research and acquisition, performance engineering, product management and intellectual property management at AVOLENT, Inc. Prior to joining AVOLENT, Michael has held various lead architectural and software engineering positions at several start-ups and major technology companies including InfoSeek, 280, General Electric Medical Systems, Taligent, and Apple.
Michael has four patents pending for distributed systems and messaging technologies. He has presented at industry conferences on the topics of scalability and messaging systems and has been contributor to articles on XML usage in the industry and acted in an advisory role for several organizations including Javasoft, Sun Microsystems, Iona, OMG, and the University of Wisconsin. Michael has a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin and a graduate certificate in Advanced Operating Systems from Stanford University and is a member of the IEEE and the ACM.
Anthony Mejia
Vice President & General Manager, Health Insurance
Anthony is in charge of marketing and partnership activities. His experience includes over 10 years of global marketing and enterprise sales positions at HP, Business Development at Vignette, and most recently sales and marketing roles at KNOVA software. Anthony brings to AVOLENT the unique perspective and experience of driving sales and marketing from the point of view of both large global organizations and successful software startup organizations.
Anthony graduated from the University of California at Davis, with a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics.
Bill Binch
Vice President and General Manager, Distribution
Bill is a seasoned leader with experience in Internet, infrastructure, and enterprise application software. He has built and managed direct, inside, and channel organizations, has run business units ranging from mid-market business customers to strategic accounts, and has experience in the pharmaceutical, aerospace, communications, and manufacturing industries.
As the leader of AVOLENT's distribution group, Bill manages the team focused on the distribution market, small & medium businesses, and install base customers. Prior to joining AVOLENT, Bill developed his sales and operational experience by building and leading divisions at Oracle, PeopleSoft, and BEA Systems.
Bill graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
