AVOLENT To Integrate Interactive eBilling Solution To Salesforce.com™ On-Demand CRM

Interactive Electronic Bills Will Drive Customer Requests, Disputes, and Re-orders Directly Into Salesforce.com CRM Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. — Aug 10th, 2005 — AVOLENT, the leading provider of Interactive eBilling and Payment software, today announced they are extending their BizCast™ software solution to integrate directly with the Salesforce.com™ on-demand Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution. This secure, rapidly deployed service will allow end customers receiving interactive eBills to initiate a number of requests directly in the bill, such as inquiries, disputes about specific line items, or re-orders. All requests will be delivered real-time into the Salesforce.com™ on-demand CRM solutions for immediate follow-up by field sales or customer support.

Interactive eBilling and Payment is a critical part of a corporation’s eBusiness strategy, allowing customers to receive, search, pay, dispute, and download bills/invoices online. Many top Internet businesses have used eBilling to drive more revenues through their web site, remove millions in annual support costs, and improve the customer experience. By utilizing this self-service technology, both customers and corporations can eliminate tedious manual processes and streamline their financial interactions.

When a bill is “interactive”, customers can naturally request information, place a re-order, or dispute a line item by clicking on the eBill, all without having to call customer support. With over 53% of customers preferring to receive and pay bills online, interactive eBilling has quickly become a powerful solution for driving more online business.

CRM solutions become more strategic as they include a broader range of customer interactions. AVOLENT’s solution allows companies to expand their CRM solutions into critical financial interactions with customers, closing the loop on the order-to-cash cycle.

AVOLENT will integrate with Salesforce.com™ by extending BizCast’s Java-based platform to the sforce™ and customforce™ API’s using web services based on SOAP and XML. This allows all customer interactions initiated in an eBill to seamlessly update Salesforce.com™ in real-time, and track the status of requests between the two systems.

“Seamless integration between Interactive eBilling and CRM is critical for realizing incremental business and improving customer interactions,” said Doug Roberts, CEO. “We are pleased to be able to offer our customers a best-in-class solution for eBilling and on-demand CRM.”
