Linda Leigh Brock

As a member of AVOLENT's Advisory Board, Linda Leigh Brock brings over eight years of healthcare industry experience to AVOLENT's healthcare vertical. She has extensive consulting expertise in the areas of group and individual billing, as well as back-end financial systems for insurance companies. Continuous change in the healthcare marketplace has enabled Linda Leigh to play an integral role for her healthcare clients, formulating software solutions that provide them the capabilities and growth potential they need to remain competitive. Linda Leigh developed her platform experience during her tenure as an EDS software engineer on a national Blue Cross insurance application, and while acting as a subject matter expert when the platform was migrated to a GUI based application years later. Her EDS client consulting roles have included onsite consultation for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as a Billing and Financial Business Analyst, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts for a Premium Billing Processing Assessment, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio (Anthem) for Billing Training and Implementation. Her current platform migration project role has given Linda the opportunity to consult on the specific migration billing and financial processing needs of Blue Shield of California, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, Anthem, and CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield . As an advisory board member, Linda Leigh will share her knowledge of the industry with AVOLENT, with special focus to how to better serve healthcare clients in the areas of customer billing, financial reporting, marketing metrics, and cost savings through process efficiencies and paper reduction.

Linda Leigh Brock has over 16 years in the Software Industry. In addition to her extensive healthcare experience, she has seven years of experience in the telecommunications industry, performing systems delivery and support leadership for client customer care and billing applications, new business development, and ongoing operational improvement programs. The ability to converse between two key industries provides Linda the perspective to help AVOLENT drive the product vision for healthcare while understanding implications and potential advantages for other key target industries segments.

Ms. Brock continues to consult with NASCO, which provides a national membership and claims processing solution to Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans across the United States. Today, the NASCO solution supports state and large local accounts, individual and small group accounts, national accounts, labor accounts, and the Federal Employee Program (FEP). Linda Leigh graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems from Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi.
